Good day! My name is Zianne Mackenzie Richardson and I am of the Haliwa-Saponi people. I live in Hollister, North Carolina. I am the sixteen-year-old daughter of Garland Arnold and Ladonna Richardson. My paternal grandparents are Garland and Pearlean Richardson. My maternal grandparents are Stanley Evans and Dorothy Lynch. I have two siblings, an older brother named Jaren and a younger sister named Evynn. I am beyond humbled and so grateful to be the incoming Miss Haliwa-Saponi 2018-2019. As Miss Haliwa-Saponi I will represent you all with pride, respect, dedication, and graciousness. I plan to set the example of “Being Your Best Self; which I will be promoting as my personal platform. I hope to encourage you all to be the best versions of yourselves. Pi:la’huk.
