In its provision of Section 166 WIOA services, and consistent with WIOA law and regulations act 20 CFR §668.300, program applicants who are enrolled members of state or federally recognized tribes, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians may be provided services through workforce development program of the Haliwa-Saponi Tribe. In the tribe’s Comprehensive Services (CSP) for its Section 166 program operation, the program is designed to provide classroom training, work experience and job search and placement assistance services to eligible clients. In addition to these services such as employment related services, the WIOA program may provide supportive services such as employment related services. This program is funded by the US Department of Labor Indian and Native American Programs (DINAP). If you would like to apply for assistance with the program, an application intake form must be filled out for eligibility to be determined. Applicants must provide proper documentation for the application to be processed. Doccuments include Proof of Income, proof of tribal identity, Tribal Enrollment card, Social Security Card, proof of employment status and proof of Selective Service Registration and other documentation may be required.
