Dudley Gregg Lynch Sr, the son of Raleigh and Claudese Lynch, was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and raised in Roslyn, Pa. Dudley is a graduate of Abington Senior High School and Eastern Montgomery County Vocational Technical School and attended the Antonelli School of Art and Photography. Before moving to North Carolina Dudley worked at the United American Indians of the Delaware Valley, an organization founded primarily by Haliwa-Saponi members that relocated to the Philadelphia area, and was also in the commercial printing industry. After moving to Hollister in 1993, he continued to work in the printing industry for several years before entering a career in the emergency services. Dudley has been a member of the Arcola Rural Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years and has served as Captain, Secretary, and Training Officer for 19 years. Dudley oversees the fire department’s medical first responders and founded the department’s Junior Firefighter program. He has been employed by Halifax and Warren County EMS since 2001, were he serves as the Community Care Paramedic. Dudley is the proud father of three sons and enjoys spending time with his granddaughter and grandson. In his spare time, he enjoys doing genealogy.
