Board of Education

Haliwa-Saponi Tribal School receives Title I money through a federal program meant to help low-income students. The tribal school had 146 students last year in kindergarten through ninth grade. The school will add a 10th grade  for the 2005-2006 school year and expects to graduate its first senior class in 2008. There are a maximum of 18 students per grade and an average of 14 or 15.
