Hello everybody and thank you for coming out to celebrate our rich culture and heritage with us.  Welcome to our 53rd Annual “Blooming of the Dogwood” Pow-wow.

My name is Aiyana Lindsea Lynch.  I would like to thank the princess committee and our tribal council for allowing me the opportunity to run for Miss Haliwa-Saponi this year.  I am the 17-year-old daughter of Charles A. lynch Junior and Angela A. Lynch.  I have one younger brother, Charles Aiden Lynch.  My Maternal Grandparents are Henry “Snake” Lynch and Shirley Lynch; and my Paternal Grandparents are Charles A. Lynch and Henryetta Silver Lynch.  I am a Junior at Western Alamance High School in Elon, NC.  I thank our Creator GOD for this opportu nity and the many blessings he’s provided to me.  Although I was not selected to serve my people as Miss Haliwa Saponi I am still grateful and blessed.  I would like to say thank you to all my Elders, family and friends for their guidance over the years; it has made me who I am today.  Please keep me in your prayers daily.  I would like to wish much success to our outgoing Princess Selena Lynch.  Finally I would like to congratulate our new tribal princess, and my long-time friend, Zianne.
